Check the workshop, not just the region
Inspect the receiving workshop’s actual input stock, completion and missing-material warning. Wool stored in another settlement, or a positive regional balance, does not mean that this workshop has received wool.
A selected production rate is not a receipt. Use actual stock, input consumption or a cleared missing-input warning to judge whether supply is reaching the intended destination.
If both settlements are in one region
- Check the roads reach the central market tiles, rather than stopping nearby.
- Check any bridge needed to complete the road.
- Check the producing and receiving buildings are complete and the relevant needs or production are selected.
- Let the game run and inspect trader activity. Traders may need time to collect goods.
- Recheck the same workshop’s stock and input warning.
If wool crosses a regional border
Open Trade with T and verify the commodity, source and destination. Check the exporting facility and road or river connections as appropriate. A listed route confirms setup; it does not prove that a delivery has already occurred.
Follow the trade-route guide for facility requirements and route creation. Keep a local road problem separate from a missing cross-region route.
Is there a confirmed wool bug fix?
There is no single confirmed diagnosis for the reported case of full wool stock failing to reach a clothing workshop. Connected roads and full stock alone are not enough to distinguish a route issue, an unfinished building or another supply problem.
A placement-warning change in 0.1.14 is not evidence of a wool-transport fix. Do not assume that a change to placement or a rare raft-port configuration solves this symptom.
If the checklist does not explain it
Keep a note of the build, source and destination settlements, their regions, road endpoints, both actual stocks, the workshop warning and the carrier state. Those details make it possible to compare the same situation before and after a change, rather than guessing from a county-wide surplus.
